On-systems, a specialist UK designer and manufacturer of advanced power conversion and management systems, marks its 15th anniversary this May. The team celebrate a journey from a bold engineering startup to a trusted global partner that delivers mission critical power solutions in the world’s most demanding environments.
Established in 2010 by engineer Mike Harvey, On-systems was founded with a mission to challenge convention in power system design and deliver smaller, lighter, more efficient and more rugged solutions for defence, aerospace and marine applications. At the heart of that mission was a genuine passion for building warm, long term partnerships with customers.
The company has grown into an AS9100 certified centre based in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire, providing end to end design-to-requirement services, build-to-print manufacturing, obsolescence management, ILS & MRO support and its award winning Avanta range.
Over the past 15 years On-systems has delivered more than 375 variants of custom and standard power products to customers across Europe, the Americas, Asia, Australia and South Africa. Its solutions consistently meet the most stringent military standards (Mil-Stds, DEF-STANs, STANAGs and VG) while excelling in vibration, shock, extreme temperatures and electromagnetic compatibility.
